Founder & Chief OD Strategist
Quennette S. Taylor, PhD
Dr. Quennette Taylor is a strategist and systems thinker, and the founder of Taylor Made Global Consulting. Across more than twenty years inside Fortune 100 organizations, she has led talent strategy, organizational development, and large-scale transformation, bringing both depth and breadth to every engagement.
She built TMGC after watching organizations invest in surface-level fixes that never produced lasting change. Her response was a method that begins with diagnosis and works the parts of an organization a leader can actually see and shape: its people, its structure, and how work flows.
Resilience came first. The strategy came later.
Dr. Taylor was born and raised in inner-city Memphis, in a community where access and direction were never guaranteed. For years the path forward was unclear. What carried her through was determination and an unrelenting curiosity, the same qualities that now anchor how she works with leaders.
That journey didn’t just shape her career. It shaped how she sees organizations.
Today she brings three things to every engagement that rarely arrive together: academic rigor, executive experience, and lived insight. It’s a combination that lets her read a room, a team, and a system at the same time, and it’s why her work is grounded in the belief that strategy, aligned with values and vision, can change both organizations and the people inside them.
A method built on diagnosis, not assumption.
Human Systems Design™, Dr. Taylor’s approach, brings together organizational psychology, systems thinking, and leadership science to make the invisible visible: what’s working in an organization, what isn’t, and what comes next. It reads every organization through three connected dimensions: People, Structure, and Flow.
She’s known for bringing clarity to complexity, partnering closely with senior leaders, and building leadership capacity that outlasts the engagement. The throughline is simple, and it’s the belief the whole firm is built on: outcomes don’t improve by chance. They improve by design.
Two decades inside the organizations everyone knows.
Dr. Taylor’s career spans corporate, global, and complex organizational environments, where she led large-scale talent, culture, and leadership initiatives and served as a trusted advisor to executives across retail, manufacturing, technology, logistics, and supply chain. In strategic roles inside Fortune 100 companies, she owned workforce strategy, organizational alignment, and leadership development in high-stakes, fast-moving environments. Hundreds of thousands of employees have felt the effect of that work through stronger leadership systems, cultural change, and smarter talent practices.
She holds a PhD in Global Leadership and Change and is committed to bridging theory and practice, so the work stays grounded in evidence and directly useful in the real world. Her research includes a study on advancing underrepresented leaders in corporate spaces, part of a body of work that has earned her recognition as a forward-thinking voice in organizational strategy.
